Why are the cloud videos deleted?

When the camera’s recordings expire or exceed the capacity of the storage space, they will be automatically deleted. Normally, new videos overwrite the oldest ones. When storage space is limited, new recordings overwrite the oldest recordings to make room for the most recent content automatically.

How long are videos stored before they are deleted automatically?

It depends on what kind of awareness plan you have.

For example, if you have a Plus plan, you can enjoy 30 days and less than 5GB of cloud video storage. If the storage of recordings does not reach 5GB, you can access all recordings in the last 30 days. But if the storage of recordings is over 5GB, older recordings will be deleted automatically to free up storage space to record new recordings, even if the older recordings are within the past 30 days.

Different plans have different storage times and storage spaces. You can enjoy cloud storage for upto 15,30, or 60 days, with storage limits of less than 3,5, or 10 GB.

How can you save the recordings for a longer time?

For some important video recordings, you can download them from the app before they are deleted.

Tap the Library -> tap the “select” icon in the top right corner -> download videos one by one or download 20 videos at a time by tapping Select all.

Or enter the video playing screen -> tap the “Download” in the lower right corner to download the video.

After the download is complete, you can go to the album on your smartphone to view it.

  • If the current subscription package service’s cloud storage space is not sufficient to meet your needs, you can choose a package with more cloud storage space to allow for storing recordings for a longer duration. You can open our app to tap “User”, then click “Awareness Lite/Basic/Plus/Pro” to subscribe to a more advanced plan.
  • You can also insert a Micro SD card to save recordings. It should be noted that when the storage space of the SD card is full, new recordings will automatically overwrite the older ones.
