Device reports “WiFi password error”

If the camera reports a “Wi-Fi password error” error when you connect it:

Please double-check the password you entered and make sure it is correct. And please pay attention to special characters, e.g. space.

It is recommended that the Wi-Fi password does not contain special characters or be too long. If the Wi-Fi password contains special characters or is too long, please try to simplify the password and try again.

If your phone and camera are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, to verify the accuracy of the entered Wi-Fi password, you can first disable the Wi-Fi connection on your phone forget the network, and then manually enter the password to reconnect. Once your phone is reconnected to Wi-Fi, try connecting to the camera using the same Wi-Fi password.

If possible, try to connect the camera to the phone’s hotspot or another Wi-Fi.

In addition, you can also try rebooting the camera to add it back to the WiFi network.
