Can the deleted videos be recovered?

Once videos are deleted or expired, they can not be recovered anymore.

Please note that once the videos are deleted, no matter if they are deleted automatically or manually, they can not be recovered anymore. Recovery options are limited and not available. When videos are deleted automatically or manually, they are usually permanently removed from the cloud storage system. So we can not recover deleted or expired videos.

How long are videos stored before they are deleted automatically?

It depends on what kind of awareness plan you have.

For example, if you have a Basic plan, you can enjoy 15 days and less than 3GB of cloud video storage. If the storage of recordings does not reach 3GB, you can access all recordings in the last 15 days. But if the storage of recordings is over 3GB, older recordings will be deleted automatically to free up storage space to record new recordings, even if the older recordings are within the past 15 days.

Do new videos overwrite the oldest ones?

Normally, new videos overwrite the oldest ones. When storage space is limited, new recordings overwrite the oldest recordings to make room for the most recent content automatically.

How to avoid videos being deleted or expired?

There are three options to avoid videos being deleted or expired:

①Download the wanted videos in your phone’s album. You can tap the Library tab and choose the cloud video, then tap the download button at the bottom right corner of the page.

②Insert Micro SD card into the camera to get more local storage. After inserting a Micro SD card into the camera, when the camera detects any movements, there will be a local video backup on the SD card.

③Buy a more advanced awareness plan to get more cloud storage. You can open our app to tap User, then click Awareness Lite/Basic/Plus/Pro to subscribe to a more advanced plan.
